Calcium oxide (calcium oxide), is a kind of inorganic compounds, its chemical formula is CaO, the name of lime. The physical property is a white powder on the surface, and the impure is gray and white. It is pale yellow or gray when it contains impurities. It is hygroscopic.

Use:

1. Can be used as a filling agent, for example: a filler used as an epoxy adhesive;

2, used as analytical reagent, gas analysis as carbon dioxide absorbent, spectral analysis reagent, high-purity reagent for epitaxy and diffusion process in semiconductor production, ammonia drying in laboratory and alcohol dehydration of L.

3. It can be used as a raw material. It can make calcium carbide, soda, bleaching powder and so on. It is also used in leather making, wastewater purification, calcium hydroxide and various calcium compounds.

4. It can be used as building material, metallurgical flux, cement speed coagulant, fluxing agent of phosphor;

5, vegetable oil as decoloring agent, drug carrier, soil improvement agent and calcium fertilizer;

6. It can also be used for refractories and desiccant [1].

7, the 1, 2, and underwater epoxy adhesives of agricultural machinery can be used as a reacting agent for the pre reaction of 2402 resin.

8. It is used in acid wastewater treatment and sludge conditioning.

9, it can also be used as a boiler shutdown protectant, making use of the moisture absorption ability of lime to keep the metal surface of boiler water vapor system dry and prevent corrosion. It is suitable for long-term shutdown protection of low pressure, medium pressure and small capacity drum boiler.

10, can react with water to prepare calcium hydroxide, reaction equation: CaO+H O=Ca (OH), belonging to the chemical reaction.
